Family Projects

Please participate in the Family Projects with your Fifth Grader which will be sent home each month.  Completed projects will be given a grade of Satisfactory as part of our Personal Health curriculum. 

August - "A Poster All About Me" will be completed with the help of your family.
                

September- Personality Brochures will be constructed by each student and their family.  The cover should include the students name, grade and school year.  The inside panels should be labeled My Favorite Subjects, My Favorite Activities, and My Favorite Things.  Please add color to all sections.  Decorate neatly!!

October - What drives you batty?  Please return a bat for each family member by October 9 so that the bats can hang out until the end of the month.

November - Family Traditions. Please help you fifth grader write about any of your Family Traditions or come and share a Family Tradition with us on November 24.  Come to Room 504 at BLES while your Fifth Grader is with me:  First Period 8:00 - 9:20, Second Period 9:30 - 10:00 and 10:50 - 11:40, and Third Period 1:00 - 2:25. 

December - Red and green link will be completed to make an "I Wish For..." chain.

March - "I am lucky to be part of this family because...." Shamrocks will be sent home to be completed by each member of your family and then will be displayed outside of room 504.
