Welcome!!!!
I am so happy to be teaching Fifth Grade at BLES again this year. I enjoy teaching Social Studies, Science, and Health. This is my fourteenth year at BLES, after teaching ten years in Aiken County.  My Undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Francis Marion University. I received a Master's in Elementary Education from USC in Columbia in August of 2004.and National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist in 2008.  My husband, Terry and I enjoy walking and traveling, especailly to the coast and to see our family. I love to read and spend time with my family. Listening to our sons play and sing is a favorite pastime.  Terry and I have 2 sons, Michael and his wife live in Columbia, and Stephen lives in Beaufort.  They both enjoy playing the guitar.

Science Fair 2011
The Holidays would be a great time to begin experimenting for your Science Fair Project.  You should have a testable question, 3 sources of research with at least 3 facts from each source which you have recorded in your Logbook, and recorded your hypothesis before beginning your experiment.  Don't forget to record everything you do in your Logbook.  The next steps you should record are the materials you gather and your procedures.  Good luck.
